Tongogara. The First Guerilla inside Rhodesia

Josiah Tongogara, the young architect of the guerrilla war against Ian Smith’s Rhodesia, had emerged from jail in Uganda for the Geneva talks in 1976, which is where I met him. He had rarely been seen before, and never interviewed. He died in a road accident – or killing – shortly afterwards.
